While growing up in Miami FL, Alexsandra learned of the real impacts that climate change could have on our lives. Driven by a deep sense of urgency to prevent the pending disasters of sea-level rise on the place she loved and called home, Alexsandra explored carbon removal, thermodynamics, sustainable energy, and smart grid technology throughout her career. She worked at Southern California Edison before giving into her entrepreneurial nature and joining an amazingly talented team of founders at Nori with the joint mission of reversing climate change through enabling global-scale carbon removal and storage. Her current focus is customer discovery for buyers of carbon removal, looking at the various market trends and forces driving global adoption of carbon removal both including and beyond the corporate sector.

Irene loves discerning trends, connecting unexpected dots and having in-depth conversations with brilliant minds all over the world about technology and philosophy. Irene studied French literature at the Sorbonne in Paris, English Literature at Queen Mary University London and managerial finance at LSE, London.
