Today’s Guest: Jennifer Sanasie
Jennifer Sanasie is a storyteller with over a decade of
experience bringing stories to life for major international news
organizations and brands. She is co-founder and CMO at Streambed
Media, a startup that allows creators to easily set licensing terms
to their content, using NFTs. She is a co-host on CoinDesk’s The
Hash, a daily news show that unpacks the latest developments in
tech, cryptocurrency and finance. And is a video host for
CryptoVantage, where she interviews newsmakers and thought leaders
in the cryptocurrency space. She is passionate about creating
content that is accessible and produces content that helps
newcomers to finance and crypto learn the basics. Jennifer was a
part of the inaugural team at News24 Video, the video platform
belonging to Africa's largest digital publisher, where she achieved
notoriety as one of the top news and culture reporters in South
Africa. As a producer and strategist, Jennifer has worked with the
following brands and media outlets on culturally relevant content
for their channels and campaigns: TD Bank, BMF, Nature
Valley, Burger King, Global TV, CP24, 680 News, CAA, The Mane
Choice. Jennifer holds an Ontario Colleges Diploma in Print and
Broadcast Journalism from Humber College; a Bachelor of Arts in
Media Studies from the University of Guelph; an MBA from the Rotman
School of Management and an LLM with a focus on innovation and
technology from the University of Toronto.
